Why name the fanlisting "Captivating" ? It's taken from the lyrics of "I'll Be", originally by Edwin McCain. Dean performed this song during his last Sunday night and received a well-earned touchdown from Mark Holden. "I'll Be" is my second-favourite idol performance of Dean's, with "On the way down" originally by Ryan Cabrera being my first :)
I've chosen to create this fanlisting for Dean because in my opinion, out of all the idols, he has grown extensively as an artist and performer. In the first week he started off with awesome looks and a mediocre voice, and left the comp with awesome looks and a dynamite voice. What the judges commented on was true - he DID take everything on board, all the criticisms and all the help he needed to improve himself - with the best results! I'll even go as far to say throughout all Australian Idol history, Dean is the complete package. He exudes a natural charisma, owns the stage, is of course beautiful and musically gifted.
